Al Khabra Early Mining & Construction

In July 2015 Ma’aden Wa’ad Al Shamal Phosphate Company (MWSPC) awarded the Early Mining & Construction Services Contract at Al Khabra, situated adjacent to the northern border of Saudi Arabia, to Saudi Comedat Company Limited. The contract consists of selected mining infrastructure and preparation works for the phosphate mine, which forms part of the integrated Ma’aden Wa’ad Al Shamal Phosphate complex. The mining and construction services contract is expected to be completed by the end of the first quarter of 2016.
